As a part of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Smt. Lalita Shastri, wife of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, an Essay Writting Competition is being organized by Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi, the details of which are as follows:
Theme: Women Empowerment in India
Word Limit: Should not exceed 3000 words
Eligibility: Students of Major B-Schools and IITs, Only individual entries allowed.
Other Requirements: Scanned Copy of College Identity Card
Submission details:

• The essay should be a word document
• Name of File: <Author Name>_<Institute Name>
• Subject Line: Women Empowerment in India

The essay and the identity proof have to be sent at response.lbsim@gmail.com latest by November 12, 2012.
The Essay would be judged by a panel of 3 members and the decision taken would be final.
NOTE: Student standing first in the Essay Competition would be a part of the panel discussion (which would constitute the likes of Ms. Vineeta Bali, MD Britannia Industries) on the topic "What's Gender Got To Do With it", to be held on December 01, 2012 at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi.
